New York Cannabis Law
You must be 21 or older with a valid government-issued photo ID to purchase, possess, or consume adult-use cannabis in New York. Medical cannabis for certified patients is sold at licensed medical dispensaries; Buffalo Dreams serves adult-use customers 21 and older.
Adults 21+ can buy and possess up to 3 ounces of cannabis flower or 24 grams of concentrate per day. Edibles are capped at 10mg THC per serving and 100mg per package. Pre-rolls and vapes count toward these limits by their cannabis content. Limits are enforced automatically at checkout through the state compliance system.
Generally on private property with the owner's consent. Public consumption is restricted anywhere smoking is banned under NY's clean indoor air rules. You cannot consume cannabis in a vehicle or at the dispensary.
No. On-site consumption is not permitted at our dispensary. Products must be purchased and consumed off-premises in a legal location.
No. Cannabis remains federally illegal, so you cannot legally cross state lines with it or bring it through airport security, even between two legal states. Keep product within New York.
"Cannabis" is the plant; "marijuana" refers to cannabis with more than 0.3% THC (what we sell for adult use); "hemp" is cannabis with 0.3% THC or less, regulated separately. All our adult-use products are OCM-licensed and lab-tested.
